There are so many reasons that I am now using the new chat system that I have been building all these weeks. The main reason is when new users start using my WhatsApp community chat they do not have access to old previously posted chat messages or media. So it is blank when someone joins.
I finally found a way to fix all that. The new chat system has full history, and tons more features. plus can be used just from my website if you don't want to install an app!

Joining the chat is easy, just download Rocket.Chat and register with my server https://jaes.chat
Just like Slack or Discord you can of course register and use the system via your web browser as well. Simply go to www.RocketChat.JaeNulton.com and register there for the full experience.
Rocket.Chat allows Voice messaging, Voice callsm video calls, group vidoo calls, notifications, link sharing, full end to end encryption, tagging, private messaging, message formatting, message editing. Most important to me is full chat history is retained. So if someone posts a video showing how to play a song, 8 months down the road a new community member will be able to see that video. Not possible with WhatsApp. Registration just needs your email addres then you choose a username and set your password, super easy.
